Gorgeous Plants and ALL things Garden!! Such an amazing staff, (They work so hard….out in the sun all day) taking care of each and every plant, herb, flower, bush, tree & all things for your Garden! They also have planters, statues, wind chimes, pine straw, mulch, accessories & friendly staff! Also, I think they have a cat there!

Found this little gem when I took the wrong turn on my way to BBG. So glad I stopped by to look! I walked away with a few plants and a flat of marigolds. I asked about Ivy Geraniums and they were so kind to order some for me. Their customer skills are unparalleled! After inquiring at several other nurseries for this particular plant not one of them felt the need to go above and beyond my expectations. Jaime, thank you! The rest of the staff I dealt with are truly committed to serve and I am so grateful for my plants. You earned another customer! People like you are the reason I don’t go to big box stores.

Staff is very friendly & helpful, especially Liam! I saw so many plants today and even bought one, but the most beautiful flower there was Mr. Liam. I don't have any other photos I took there because is was preoccupied with sitting next to Liam and pet his warm and extremely soft sun soaked dusty grey coat. I was not specifically planning to buy a plant today but alas. Mr. Liam worked his genius sales tactic of soft blinks and purrs on me and I had no choice but to succumb. I blame my toxoplasmosis. Anyways would love to come back for another plant if I manage to keep this one thriving and alive! Mr. Liam you are so beautiful xxxx

Oak street is a wonderful local garden shop with very knowledgeable staff. They have a great variety of both indoor and outdoor plants, and are willing to help you find and order what ever special plant you are looking for. Prices are consistent with other local garden shops in the Birmingham area. The quality of plants are far better than what you would find in a box store. They also make custom live arrangements and make deliveries.
