SummerWinds Nursery

Beautiful little piece of heaven to wander through and smell the flowers! Everyone was very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. They carry Native plants that flower and aren't just cactus and they had the seed for the Desert Marigolds I was looking for. I'm looking forward to coming back when I am ready to plant more. Oh, and huge variety of healthy house plants too!

I really like this nursery a lot. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a great plant selection. Plenty of choices for plant nutrition and soil. $60.00 for potted roses, though? Priced me out!

Andrew was extremely helpful, kind, and clearly passionate about plants. The actual nursery was very clearly cared for and was pretty inside. I will definitely be back to get more plants from them! Thank you for helping me get started on my little garden♡

Being New to Arizona I posted on the neighborhood app asking for plant nursery recommendations to find a bougainvillea. With social media being what it is, I got so many comments about messy they are and if I had to have one just go to a big box store. 😂 I was able to get two recommendations for SummerWinds Nursery. At this point, I was feeling embarrassed to even ask about bougainvilleas but I made a trip over there . Quin saw me enter and popped right out from behind the counter and asked me if I wanted help so we talked bougainvilleas and the pros/cons. He could’ve told me we don’t have any in stock right now and let me leave, but he was interested in talking about plants and helping me find something beautiful. I said what I really want right now is some pink patio flowers to surprise my daughter with and some potting soil so he helped me choose some beautiful blooming frost-hardy snapdragons in pink and bright yellow. I thought the prices were decent especially for the organic potting soil. While I was checking out, Quin pointed out that spring chickens like me get discounts on Wednesdays, and he also told me that on Saturdays there are free classes that I can take to learn more about plants-roses this week. I happily gave him my email address and he carried all my purchases out to the car and help me load them too! Can you tell I’m a fan?This review was long because I want to let the management know what an asset they have in Quin I don’t really feel like I need to go anywhere else going forward.
