Mar 1, 2026I arrive on Saturday at about 4:30 p.m., 30 minutes before closing time. My plan was to take a brief look to see what was available, and return the next day. I'm redoing my front yard and was looking to purchase 18 rose bushes for the front and possibly returning to ask questions about landscaping my backyard and purchasing more plants and flowers. When arriving, Julie directed me towards a person that would be able to drive me back to the Rose area by way of golf cart. I seated myself on the back seat of the golf cart, and he drove towards the back where the roses were located. I asked him a few questions; he really didn't care to answer them—very low energy and non caring. Furthermore, I get it was close to closing time and his mind was probably set on going home for the day; he was very uninterested. After I asked my two to three questions at that point, I had decided I'm not going back. He drove back and parked the golf cart and walked away. Do you think that he said “Thank you for coming” or "Come again"? Even a simple smile and a wave goodbye would have been nice, NO! he didn't. Poor customer skills, and worst yet, he definitely is not a GENTLEMAN. I have a bad ankle and a bad knee; I walk with a very obvious limp. I needed help getting off the back of the golf cart. Do you think he even extended a hand to help me down as a gentleman should? NO! he did not. As I said, he simply parked the golf cart and walked away. I sat there for a moment, thinking he would turn back to come and help me. I wanted to return tomorrow, but because of the way he treated me, I decided against it. I will take my 700 and some odd dollars elsewhere. I will never go back again. I will spend my Sunday at either Guerrero's Farm Rose Nursery, or Uva Nursery. So for me, this place earned three strikes. 1. Not interested in answering questions. 2. Did not say "Goodbye" or "Please come again". 3. Not helping me off the back of the golf cart, had I fallen, it could have been a serious injury. I'm a 68-year-old disabled woman with a bad knee and bad ankle. Sometimes when I step down, my ankle gives out on me, and I fall down. I would like to end with this. The other two employee's, that I came in contact with, Julie, who did a cute little jiggle dance for me (We were right next to the speakers playing lively music) and another female, (I didn't ask her name) were cordial, professional, and respectful. However he was not (he's about 5 ft 10, late '50s, early '60s Caucasian), he lacks manners. I'm hesitant to say, the experience almost felt RACIST. PS: I've purchased from this business in the past, trees, roses, etc, and it was always a positive experience. Someone really needs to sit down and have a talk with him. I read your reviews and it seems to me you're beginning to earn the reputation of treating people badly and poor customer service. I will never recommend this place. I may also post my comments on Yelp and reddit. By the way the last time I roses they were about 10 to $15 per 5 gallon container. I can remember when three scoops of ice cream was 15 cents, and the theater was $0.50... 🤣

Nov 10, 2025Garden View Nursery is the best for good quality plants and excellent advice at a reasonable price. I've been buying plants there for my landscape projects for 10 years. I recently bought and had two box trees installed. After the crew left I realized that I wanted one of the trees moved several feet over. I called the office and talked with Alicia and Johnny who were very helpful scheduling the crew to move the tree. The next day the same crew arrived, Jose F. and J. Beteta, and expertly moved the tree with a helpful attitude. The General Manager, Ian, does an excellent job creating a place where you can get the plants, and the help, you need to make your landscaping dreams come true.

Sep 6, 2025I visited this place a week ago looking for a Meyer lemon tree, the variety of plants they have it’s amazing , I must say the staff wasn’t very friendly at all , I felt like they were forced to help me , it wasn’t a nice experience , but will try to ignore that because I really wanna come back for more plants in the future
