Hanna's Nursery N Feed

Terrible! Don't buy here! On Saturday, Feb 28th I went to Hanna’s nursery to buy an apple tree. I found one with the help of Hanna’s husband and purchased it. Since I couldn’t find a truck to take it home, on Monday I went back to the nursery to pay for it to be delivered. I met Hanna, the owner, and I paid for her to deliver the tree on Wednesday at 4p. I also paid for her to repot it into a bigger pot with compost. (This detail will be important later.) On Wed, at 4:15, I called Hanna since no one had arrived to deliver my tree. She tells me that she had gotten her days mixed up and that all day she thought it was Tuesday. (Side eye-because how do have a business and don’t know what day it is) She also said that her guys would not be able to deliver it that day. I gave her grace and we arranged for her to deliver the tree the next day, Thursday. Her elderly delivery guy arrives today, Thursday, without a dolly and tries to drag this almost 30 gallon pot to my backyard. I told him not to because it would ruin the pot. When I called Hanna, she said that I would have had to pay extra if I wanted him to put it in my backyard. I told her this is not how delivery works, and I was not told that when I paid for her to deliver it. When I got off the phone with Hanna, I asked her delivery driver what was the protocol when he makes deliveries. He said he usually puts the trees wherever the customer wants them. Exactly! At least he didn't lie to me or try to play me for a fool. I just had him leave it on the curb and got two other people to bring it inside. Needless to say, I will not be using this business again.

I purchased 8 plants from Hanna’s Nursery, specifically pink and yellow lantanas, but not a single one was correct. Instead, they were orange/yellow, and 4 of them were already dead. The palm I bought arrived in terrible condition, and despite Hanna’s assurance it would recover after planting, it’s still struggling to survive. To make matters worse, the planting experience was a disaster. Hanna sent an elderly gentleman (easily in his 80s) to handle the removal and replanting. It was clear he needed assistance, so I ended up doing most of the shoveling and plant removal myself. During the process, he accidentally hit 5 of my electrical lines and completely disrupted the rock landscaping around the plants. Now, Hanna refuses to return my calls or replace the incorrect and dead plants. Save your money, this nursery sells mislabeled, dying plants and provides zero accountability. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

This is a very well-stocked nursery with an extremely knowledgeable owner! She was so helpful to me in purchasing 2 beautiful Japanese boxwood. She explained everything I needed to know, which helped me immensely because I am terrible with plants. I followed her instructions, and they are thriving! For a fee, she will even come to you and plant your purchase for you, if you like. I look forward to future purchases from this establishment.

She always gets the healthiest trees and is able to find me the trees I need no one else has. Great service always with a smile. Highly recommend to all you fellow tree lovers
