Burgeon at The Greenhouse

My husband, twins (who were graduating from high school) and I had our “So long, SoCal, Party” at the Greenhouse in May 2025 as the empty nester parents were on their way to move to San Francisco, and the twins on their way to UH Manoa on O’ahu. It was a great event - Melody was wonderful to work with -friendly, personable, professional, very accommodating, and helped with catering options (Craft Coast Tacos from Oceanside - shout out to them, everyone gave them a 10 out of 10 for the food and service), and took such good care of my family and all our guests. Beers were great as well as the additional agave and wine selections. The space was great for both the adults and the teens (we ended up with about 65 people in total) and plenty of room, warm and inviting space with audio and visual connections for music and streaming photos of all our family and friends over the years we lived in Carlsbad - such a memorable event for us that we will value for years to come. The quality of the event was unmatched and worth every penny spent - which was very reasonable for the 3-4 hours of unlimited pours. Melody didn’t rush us out at the end of the event and let us organically come to an end so we could say our goodbyes. I highly recommend Melody and her team and the Greenhouse space for any moments or experiences you would like to make memorable. You won’t be disappointed.

We hosted our son's 1st birthday party at the Greenhouse in June and I can't say enough good things about working with Mel. We started planning this forever ago and she jumped right in with referrals for a pop up play company for kids under 5 and then handled the logistics for that day as they coordinated a time, load in and load out. We brought in some of our own food to accommodate the full scale of people (baby to adults) and she helped us work with the food truck on site too as an option to round out our menu. A huge perk to working with Mel and the Burgeon team was the options on drinks as well. This was big for us since we had so many individuals with all different requests (NA Beer, agave cocktails, beer, tea, etc.) - she made sure that no matter what the request was, she had it in advance and also had plenty of storage room for us in the back coolers for overflow. Additionally, we were able to get into the space early and start dropping off decor/food the day prior. Knowing we had quite a few things to set up, when she offered us this chance, it just made everything run that much more smoothly. The service and hospitality that was provided to us honestly made all the planning and stress that is built into a 1st birthday party 100% worth it and I'd do it all over again. We highly recommend anyone who is looking for a private, exclusive, and intimate venue to consider working with Mel at the Greenhouse. We cannot say enough good things about the experience, the service, and the compliments our friends/ family gave us about the space! Thank you for helping us celebrate Lennon's 1st birthday, Mel!

We hosted our engagement party here at The Greenhouse, and Melody made everything a breeze! We chose Craft Coast tacos as our food options, and we still get compliments. As always, the beer and service was top notch. Melody was so responsive and helpful throughout the whole process. The space is beautiful as is, but she also gave us plenty of time and help to set it up exactly the way we wanted. We highly recommend using this space for any event! Our guests absolutely loved it!
