Arizona Fruit Trees

Incredible experience at Arizona Fruit Trees! This is a local spot run but a father & son. Eric was incredibly kind and has an immense amount of knowledge. We purchased an eve pomegranate, this was the only place we could find in the valley with a wide variety of pomegranates (and other fruits as well). If you are considering purchasing fruit trees definitely check these guys out first over other “mainstream”/commercialized nurseries. Eric offered plenty of advice for our future purchases of grape vines and Barbados cherry trees as well :)

Very knowledgeable and passionate about fruit trees. They sold us a Cara Cara Orange tree, that is already producing in the plant (he took off one of the fruits as we were talking!) he offered extra advice I didn’t even know to ask. After they sold us the tree, I asked if my kids could tour the nursery and they were really awesome about it! The kids loved it of course. It’s a 3 hour drive for us, but it’s well worth it - we’ll be coming back for each of our new trees. (Probably this march)

Jay spent literally an hour teaching us about fruit trees and microclimates, even learned a bit about grafting. Great experience! Trees are very healthy. Can’t wait to harvest some pears and Barbados cherries!

Jay and Eric are absolute gems! I drove straight there from Vegas, and I had already made a list of the trees I wanted. I spoke to Jay over the phone several times prior to my trip which he was SO NICE no matter how many times I called hehe 💖. Not only did they take their time in helping me, they answered all my questions as well as gave me advice as to how to help my Black Persian Mulberry tree to fruit. I went down there in November, and purchased a cara cara, blood orange, meiwa kumquat, tango mandarin, eureka lemon, gold nugget mandarin, tangelo, eve pomegranate, and parfianka pomegranate! We got them all wrapped up and fit in my van it was wonderful driving in a forest on the way home. ☺️ I have purchased several trees throughout my life, and these were worth every penny! The root stocks they are on are sour orange which is what I was looking for. Their root development were all super strong, and they all flowered and fruited as I write this June the following year although I was advised it could take til the following year which I completely understood. I planted most of them in the ground less than a month before they bloomed which was absolutely intoxicating in a good way! Eric gave me great advice on where I should move my irrigation for my mulberry tree, and I did as well as fertilized it there. It fruited this year with delicious plump fruit which the years prior the fruit was super dry. I can't thank them enough. I could just stay in their nursery and look around forever. It was so peaceful. I pray they do amazing in business for years to come, and keep giving the public the option to purchase their amazing plants. Thanks Jay and Eric! You guys are awesome! Every time I visit Arizona fruit trees nursery I feel welcome and inspired. They freely offer whatever fruit is ripe to taste and show all the amazing things growing. Jay showed me his first avocado grown on sight. It was so perfect it looked fake! I also like to save up to buy from this nursery because I know the trees are from ARIZONA. Anyways , highly recommended and always a pleasure.
