Big John's Farm Market & Greenhouses

Our family visited on Thursday 10/16 we arrived about 4:30 and stayed until closing at 6pm....We had a wonderful time!!! I would like to give a shout out to the young gentleman supervising the "big" slide! The activities were not crowded- I believe because it was the end of the day - we had 3 boys going up and down the slide at least 15 times!!! The wonderful thing is the boys are on the Autism Spectrum- this amazing young man treated them with amazing patience, kindness and acceptance!!! Our Autism world is always advocating for Autism understanding and Acceptance -clearly this young man understands Autism, this world needs more people just like him!! Please Please recognize him as he made a difference for our visit to the Farm. Along with the rest of the staff at the farm. You are certainly doing things right!!

Absolutely awesome the children had a great time! We met the owners and had great conversation got to learn about the pumpkins and how they grow. Will definitely be back!!! Owners and staff are outstanding perfect place to get your pumpkins mum's and everything else!!!

We have been coming here for about 5 years and still love this place! You can tell that since taking over, Big John’s has put a lot of effort into keeping the same attractions while making updates and improvements. My kids love the hamster barrels and the slide! I like the Michigan apples and the pumpkin donuts! I extra appreciate the actual handwashing sinks around the farm for use. There’s plenty to do and it’s not over commercialized like some big farms. It’s just right to satisfy all your family’s fall festivities. Highly recommend it!

Was there yesterday. The three women all acted very sparky and rude towards me. Younger blond cashier was the worst of them all. I ended up leaving empty handed because there are other places that would gladly take my money and be polite while doing it. Shoot out to Clark's.

Delivered a load here and these ppl are amazing. Plant load, floor loaded as you can imagine it was a mess they cleaned the trailer after they were done!!! 🤯 to me, that’s amazing. No overnight parking but there’s always a spot in Gary Indiana at the petro!
