Collier's Greenhouse & Garden Center

One of my favorite places to go. The greenhouse is so peaceful and the people are usually very helpful and friendly. I could seriously sip coffee and walk around the greenhouse for hours… The only downfall is the smell of litter boxes inside but I think that just comes with the territory of cat rescue.

I wanted nothing more than to support our local nursery. Today has been our 3rd try coming. And yet again, we were met with hostile workers and we were ignored. The 1st two times we visited, we weren't greeted or even spoken to. I dismissed it as maybe they were busy. Until today. Today, a white man walked in and two workers greeted him kindly and walked towards him to assist him, they walked right by me and my family even though we walked in 5 minutes before he did. Honestly, I'm hurt by this. Especially because my son felt it and he even said when we left he felt like they wouldn't even look his way but we're kind enough to help the other man. Needless to say the 3rd time is the charm. We won't be back. I hope they do better with others. Not sure if it was because we are black or a gay couple, or both.

Great plants, beautiful cat adoption area. Customer service is rubbish. We recently purchased a bed and breakfast and wanted to get some amazing plants for landscaping and a few other projects. Customer service helps one find out about their customer. One thing I learned about being a GM is if you want to make an impact be interested in making the customer or client feel important. This was lost . Edit: I have been back to Colliers Garden since my first experience and can say things changed for the better. Theres a man there with a hat on and the colliers shirt,he's always extremely helpful, any questions he has an answer if he doesnt he finds one, I love there Facebook, and this has become my go to for anything plants, seeds, soil, or even if I need a mental pick me up. I hope they decide to do classes in the future or any type of any educational events ,lectures anything. I am here for it

Been here many times. Beautiful place with an interesting variety of unique plants. Timely, attentive service. The review given from the owner of a bed and breakfast is odd. Must be demanding and self-important.

Very nice little nursery. There are a lot of beautiful plants. They had some great prices on yard plants and succulents. If you love hoyas, there are a lot to choose from. The houseplant section has a nice variety of not as common plants. They are nice, but a lot of them have sun burn, and a bit overpriced. The houseplants are cared for, but a little rugged. The employees weren't very friendly, but nice. I would visit again.
