I had an AMAZING time at Pour Decisions! Ericka is extremely knowledgeable about scent pairings and worked with me to create one of my favorite candles ever. Experience and energy is 10/10!

The Pour and Candle experience hosted by District 78 at Mortar was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and creative—perfect for both seasoned DIY-ers and total beginners like me. The host Erikka at District 78 guided us through the candle-making process with such patience, energy, and passion that it felt less like a class and more like a fun, hands-on celebration. The scent options were beautifully curated, the materials were high-quality, and the attention to detail made everything feel elevated. It wasn’t just about making a candle—it was about connecting, relaxing, and walking away with something personal and meaningful. I loved how the space at Mortar complemented the vibe: stylish, cozy, and community-driven. This is the kind of experience you want to share with friends, bring a date to, or even do solo for some creative self-care. I’ll definitely be back!

I've been to District 78 multiple times. The range of plants, hand made candles and vintage clothing is amazing. When a new scent drops it's always an exciting moment! I attended a Pour Decisions event, round 3: coffee inspired candles + cocktails. Trying the two different cocktails that District 78 created and creating my own candles inspired by the theme is amazing! I will be back!
