The staff are always helpful and knowledgeable. Reasonable prices. Good variety. I’ve bought a lot of plants from them and they’re still doing well.

owner told us to text them information for a fix so we texted him the information. They did not reply to the text message at all and showed up two days later already outside and calls us ready to work unannounced without anyone setting up a day to come see us about it and says they are here to do the service. they then before I even got outside to talk to them went into our back yard.. through a gate.. I told them hey the issue is on the other side of the house but before you start could we at least get a estimate? which is a very normal thing to ask.. he got mad and stormed off saying we will be paid fairly!!! and got in his truck and left... I literally asked for an estimate of what it "might" cost..before he started digging.. he wouldn't even go look at it.. he was very rude.. and unprofessional.

Horrible accountability experience with Eastside Gardens I purchased a Bloodgood maple tree and a few shrubs from Eastside Gardens, paying extra for them to deliver and plant in late May 2022. The tree and planting were expensive, so I expected things to be done right. But this year, only the bottom half of the tree leafed out. A certified arborist discovered Eastside Gardens planted the tree 8 inches too deep, slowly suffocating it over the last two years. I had to spend more than half of what I originally paid just to cut the top off and hopefully save it by amending the soil. This issue wasn’t my fault—it was due to their improper planting. I didn't think I had to check their work... When I reached out, the manager acknowledged it was a unique situation and had to talk to the owners about the situation. I was instructed to send an email with photos and an explanation, but after promising to follow up, I heard nothing for over two months. I followed up multiple times, and finally, I was informed the owners decided there was “nothing they could do” because it was outside their one-year warranty. They could have at least offered me something—a discount on a tree, a free perennial or two—but nope… not their problem. In the end, I was left with half a tree and out of pocket costs for their mistake. Definitely taking my business elsewhere now, as it seems like they don't care too much about quality and accountability...
