Fern Plant Shop

I absolutely adore everything about this shop! Way beyond a plant store! Thrift gold. All of their plants are well taken care of, the layout of the store is so pleasing to the eye - vibe is awesome. All that said - not including how sweet their downstairs section for clothing is. I always walk away with more than a few items - price is always so fair. Whoever is selecting the items downstairs is KILLING it. Every item is clean and not overly warn. What this place has to offer is always so good. Cannot say enough good stuff. Go go go.

Such a wonderful store with the most amazing staff! I needed help finding a particular plant and they were so responsive! Best part, they had exactly what I was looking for!! They put so much care into the whole store!

Love this shop! They have the best selection of plants with the most helpful staff. As a plant novice they helped me pick out a plant that was best suited for the type of light in my house and educated me on how to care for it. It was great to experience a local store with knowledgeable staff that actually care. Will definitely be back again!

I absolutely love Fern Plant Shop on W. Riverside — I’ve been going for years and it just keeps getting better! 🌿 I usually come in to get my plants repotted (they always do such a great job), but this time I discovered their new boutique downstairs and it was amazing. The clothes are unbeatable in both style and price — I literally walked out with a whole new fall wardrobe (3–4 outfits) for only about $70. 🧡🍂 Everything is so cute and affordable! The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and creative. Alex was especially great — super friendly and helpful. It honestly feels like a one-stop shop now: you can take care of your plants and treat yourself to a new outfit all in one trip. Highly recommend stopping in!

Loved the plants, the pots available and the trade in program. Was pleasantly surprised by the 2nd-hand clothes section, however quickly disappointed at the complete lack of any attempt to be size inclusive, seeing few larges and even fewer xl+. Overall, I got what I went there for-- a small plant so yay
