Gardener's Supply Company

Gardener's Supply has really rolled out the red carpet for me recently. I've been amazed with how friendly and helpful the staff are in these places. Olivia consulted with me extensively on various plants I was considering for my apartment. Denise helped me, with great zeal, locate and repot a retinue of plants. Doug did the same recently with a giant peace lily, including helping me situate it into my undersized vehicle (made it home completely intact, Doug, thank you!) along with Anna. Brian, the pottery master, helped me specially fabricate some drainage holes into a pot where there were none. I think it should say a LOT that I know these people's names from one or two interactions-- they were THAT NICE. Whew. Alright, that should just about do it for this review. GO VISIT THIS PLACE PEOPLE. I freaking love Gardner's Supply!

Update Jan 14, 2026 I stopped in today to peruse the Outlet area and have lunch at the Garden of Eatin (yum!). While waiting for my Vermonter, I noticed this cow ... with its winter blanket on :) (it might be the very last photo below.) Original post: Who doesn't love going to Gardeners Supply?! I enjoy the Intervale store a lot, but I usually go to the Williston store. My first favorite stop is Garden of Eatin. Everything made there is delicious, and eating next to the koi pond is so pleasant and peaceful. My next stop is always the Outlet area. All of what's there is on sale, but if you check carefully, you can sometimes find a really great deal. I've gotten some of their square tomato cages at a fraction of regular price. Tomato and squash protectors and grow bags and portable greenhouse and shade cloth frames and fabric raised beds and and and. Elsewhere there are Air plants, flowering plants, leafy plants, landscape plants ... they have LOTS to choose from and excellent advise. There are lots of great gift ideas throughout the store. UPDATE 2/1/2025: Still one of my favorite places to spend part of a day. I totally lucked out last week: my sweetheart gave me a 75 gift certificate. I've had a tab open in my browser for 2 years so I can monitor the price of a tall, narrow VegTrug greenhouse, always out of my price range. OMG, it's at the Outlet for $90!!!!! 😃💜

Can't believe this is my first time there, did not get anything to snack on , but it smells sooo good. Lots of neat stuff for this time of year. Nice stop.

I stopped by Gardener’s Supply Company with two Money Trees that desperately needed repotting, and this location did not disappoint. My plants were starting to look like they were questioning their life choices, so it was definitely time for a refresh. From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable. They didn’t just repot the plants, they explained every step of the process, from the soil mix they selected to how often I should water going forward. I really appreciated that they took the time to educate me rather than just doing the job and sending me on my way. You can tell they genuinely care about plant health and customer experience. The store itself is such a vibe - well-organized, clean, and full of beautiful greenery, planters, gardening tools, and décor. It’s one of those places you walk into intending to fix one issue and suddenly you’re considering starting a full garden. There’s a great balance of options for both beginners and serious gardeners. Pricing was fair, quality was high, and customer service was truly standout. My Money Trees look healthier already, like they just left a spa day. Overall, a wonderful experience. I will definitely be coming back for more plants, supplies, and probably another round of plant therapy. 🌱
