Mar 4, 2026The manager was very rude, he stood there on the phone for about 5 minutes while I was waiting to be checked out. Terrible worker, terrible example for other employees.

Jan 20, 2026Gray’s always has something I struggle not to buy on its shelves. I walk through and see such gorgeous plants! Thankfully every time I visit, I see a pest- such as thrip larvae or spider mites and their webs, and it keeps me from taking home more plants I don’t have room for. 🙏

Dec 27, 2025Came in there the day after Christmas, to get a gifted plant repotted and dude at the counter asked “why do you think it needs repotted” and I said because of my research with the roots being bounded like they are and the soil being tight and what not. He didn’t even look at plant then he said “go buy a pot then I’ll repot it”. We looked for a second, then we left. Not a friendly interaction and not what you expect at a plant shop… won’t be returning to this specific shop, the Springfield location is great.

Oct 25, 2025Went in to ask about an mold issue in flower bed soil on advice from irrigation specialist and his garden designer. I was told G would be able to help me identify. Employee was abrupt and rude. Just wanted some ideas and thoughts not criticism. Didn’t feel like I could ask additional questions. Showed me a few products with no additional info about any of them. Carried one around then put back. WONT SPEND my money here. Went to another place of business where i was heard and taught about products.

Oct 22, 2025I was recovering from a knee injury and had a hard time walking.... The till was open on the outside and I struck up a conversation with the cashier in hopes that he would help me - and he did by walking to a table and retrieving a potted plant. I had originally come to find a unique cut flower vase so I stumbled into the building and in short time walked back out. I arrived at 5:37 PM and knew they would be closing soon .... I moved as fast as I could. Instead of just cashing me out on the outside station he closed it right in front of me and made me walk back in. The time was 5:45. This struck me as bad service right away; I even mentioned it would be a lot easier to charge me outside as clearly I was having a hard time walking. He totally ignored me and instead walked back in with me while indicating that it was not his fault but managements policy "I get paid by the hour." A few minutes later I'm standing at the cash register and I say the same thing to the owner who also completely ignores me. Worse, he wouldn't even own up to being the owner… And continued to just ignore me. Clearly I was asking way too much of these lazy people. They have nice flowers and an interesting store. But their service and prices? Rude.
