Mar 7, 2026Family visiting from out of town led us to discover this hidden gem. Initial plans for an afternoon with the kiddos and their grandparents at McKee botanical gardens proved incompatible with "Uncle Dans"' poodle. Whether you're going strictly for the bonsai collection, or to give the kids a chance to enjoy the many interactive installations, I highly recommend checking out the Heathcote Botanical Gardens.

Feb 26, 2026Heathcote was the setting for the best day of our lives, and we could not have chosen better! My husband and I got married here in November, and it was everything we had hoped for and more. We had to plan our wedding remotely from Tennesee due to having family in Florida who couldn't travel. Tara, Thad and the rest of the staff were absolutely amazing, going above and beyond to help us, our guests, and vendors get familiar and comfortable with the gardens. They went so far above and beyond for us in the planning phase. When we arrived in town, just days before our wedding to see the gardens for ourselves, we were blown away on every front. The gardens surpassed our expectations in every way. It's absolutely stunning, tranquil, and has so many interesting features and displays. We instantly knew we had chosen the right place. I can't say enough about the gardens or the staff - thank you to the entire Heathcote team!

Feb 11, 2026Beautiful gardens, there is a lot of Bonsai Trees and the ground keepers are very knowledgeable about them. There is a koi pond and many other things to see.
