Dec 16, 2025I love Heinz Bros. I have moved out of state so I don't get in as often as I used to, but I called them the other day and had them send a poinsettia to my Mom. Needless to say, it is absolutely gorgeous and my Mom and Dad are thrilled with it. The gal who helped me was so knowledgeable and patient with me when I ordered. Thank you Heinz Brothers for helping me make the season brighter for my Mom, even though I'm 600 miles away. You guys are awesome.

Nov 17, 2025This will be a very long review but I hope everyone takes the time to read it before considering going to this nursery. I am new to the area. I had a nursery I loved in a different town. I thought Heinz would be my new go to. I have been to Heinz for the summer months but decided to go to Heinz for my holiday decorations. I went yesterday to pick out outdoor planters and a Christmas tree. I found the perfect planter ($200) and went to look for trees. I was being assisted by someone who you could tell was just annoyed that I was taking longer than she hoped to find the perfect tree. I finally found two I was deciding between. I explained that I wanted the tree delivered to my house but I dint need it in a stand, Or set up, or anyone coming inside. All I wanted was a delivery to my front door or driveway. The price on the tag was either me taking it home or the works (stand, set up, etc). So I asked the price for just delivery. She said she’d find out. She left and never came back. I waited around the trees for 10ish minutes and went to the front. I spoke to another lady and she said “it’s on the tag”. I said well I understand but those aren’t either of the options I’m looking for. She said well it would be the price for delivery on the tag. I said that didn’t really seem correct because to drop off in my driveway vs setting the tree up with a stand in my house is a very different amount of services. She didn’t say anything. This is when the manager on duty (Deb) approached. I explained everything and she said “well if you want us to just throw the tree in the car for delivery $35”. The $35 is not the problem. The problem is the tree would have been $300-$400 and you, as the manager, just told me you’d THROW the tree in the car. It was rude. It was aggressive. There was no holiday spirit. It was just really…wrong. I explained that this was really inappropriate and I got a “sorry probably not what I should have said”. Truly dismissive. I asked who the manager was and it was her!!! I couldn’t even speak to someone. Fast forward I was leaving feeling pretty terrible. I didnt get my tree. Or my Christmas pot. Or anything I was hoping to get. I was treated poorly. And I’m left knowing I don’t want to go back to my local nursery. So I went home. I wrote a lengthy email to the owner of Heinz. Expressing my concerns. Asking for a call just to speak with him. Explain how things could have been better handled. Maybe asking him my questions about delivery. Hoping to solve my concerns. What happens was truly the worst part of this whole experience… The manager that told me she’d THROW the tree in the car…she responded to the email! She identified herself. Told me she was sorry for the experience but it was because they were still training for the holidays (a very poor excuse because it shouldn’t take training for the holidays to teach the MANAGER professionalism and how to speak to customers) and that the owner told her she could respond. Despite me asking to speak to the owner. He just passed it off to the person I had the poor experience with. It was clear he didn’t care. It was also clear that they didn’t need my business. Maybe $500-$600 in one trip isn’t a lot of money but if they keep treating customers this way, it will eventually hurt their business. Being kind to your customers shouldn’t be difficult. And if you own a business, you need to be professional enough to take the time to respond to inquiries and complaints. You shouldn’t send the employee that is being complained about to solve it. Because it won’t solve it. It will make the experience worse.

Oct 30, 2025This place is soo amazing!!! I got everything I was looking for during their 50% off end of season for tropical indoor plants...from jasmine plants to Plumeria to so many new plants in discovered. This place is definitely number 1 for plant nursery. I even saw a cinnamon tree a while back when I was there. So many plants..love this place. Ty.

Oct 30, 2025They have a gorgeous selection with premium prices, but be careful with their sales - if an employee tells you one price and the cash register says another, the cash register will win. An employee specifically told me an item was on sale. When the cash register said otherwise, the employee basically shrugged and said "guess I was wrong," leaving me to either walk away or pay 20% more than expected. To my surprise a manager upheld the decision. Tldr: the plants are beautiful, the customer service could use some work.
