Two apple trees, a black cherry, and an apricot! I like the old-time feel and the fact that the owner took the time to tell me about the history of the place. This place has deep roots! I'm replacing an ancient apricot that succumbed to high wind and also just adding to the orchard. Never had a "sweet 16" variety apple, but here goes! I've never bought trees from here before and the one year warranty was a nice surprise.... something you won't likely see at a big box store. Thanks guys!

if you like to stroll leisurely and enjoy your trip to the garden center without a bunch of people in your face and a good asmosphere with folks who also love plants then jacksons is the place! We have always been impressed with them! ps Jacksons is open year round! 💚

I am once again, very pleased in what I see. The prices are absolutely fabulous.. I’ve been coming here for about 3 years . And since I’m not from Topeka, I didn’t know there were other greenhouses nearby. So me and my wife went to skinners For the first time and oh my goodness, I felt like everybody’s poop in there didn’t stink you have to be absolutely rich to shop there . The prices were absolutely ridiculous. Our jaws just kind of dropped the whole time while we were there . Why would I pay more money when I can go get the same plant somewhere else for cheaper. I don’t know if we were looking in the right place, but I didn’t see any hanging basket plants or flowers. And again, we might’ve just been looking in the wrong spot, but we’ve pretty much covered the whole lot. Most of the negative comments you see on Jackson’s comments are not about the products it’s about someone wearing a hat lmao

Independent, locally owned greenhouse. Seems a shame to call it 'vintage' but I reckon nothing has changed in there in 40 years. Awesome folks, super knowledgeable, great selection of seed, fertilizer, dirt and rocks. They sell and deliver bulk. If they don't know how to do something, they can help you find a class at the county extension office or library.
