Mahar's Family Greenhouse and Nursery

Very different this year. Most plants sold in singles causing me to spend twice as much as normal. Baskets were not as nice as previous owners. Went for vegetables same thing. Asked for sweet potato vine and was told I'd get a call when they came in but didn't. Mothers day we decided to make our own baskets for the first time. I'd like to see more varieties in the 4 to 6 packs as before. Very friendly staff.

Been going there for 20 years for mothers day baskets and starter plants for vegetable garden. Went yesterday and won't be going back. New owners, half the selection and 25-50% price increase on everything. Went to a hardware store in Durand for most of what we needed . Too bad used to LOVE this place.

Well..... We just stopped my ol' Mahars greenhouse.. walked in and seen a guy without a shirt peeing on a wall. We noticed a closed sign but was wide open. We won't be going back.

I used to go to Mahar's when he just started at his house.Ive learned so much from him.Always reasonable pricing.
