This nursery typically has a nice selection of quality plants, but I would highly discourage purchasing anything that is dormant. Unfortunately the growers do not guarantee that the plants will wake up from dormancy and you could end up with a DOA. I purchased an Edgeworthia chrysantha from this place on opening day 2025. Edgeworthia is kind of marginal here (maybe 7B hardiness?), but it was no where near cold enough to kill it at that time of the year or beyond, and I had planted it promptly as an extra blanket of caution. I have 4 more Edgeworthia in the ground from other nurseries that all woke up with no problem or even any frost damage. To make matters worse, I revisited the nursery several weeks later, and it was clear to me that some of the plants that were still there were also dead. You could see that the survivors were starting to leaf out and had turgid stems. The dead had withered, desiccated tips with no new leaves. I didn’t see any clear patterns, but I believe they had moved the pots from near the Aucubas and other shade plants to a lower terrace, and I suspect that the most exposed windward pots on edges had got frost bitten a couple weeks before the flower buds would have opened. I spoke with nursery staff and texted the president several times with photographic evidence to no avail. I am disappointed in their lack of response, and I feel sorry for anyone else that might’ve purchased a dead plant too early in the spring.

Needed to know what was in stock but had to go through the technical maze to try to get a hold of someone so I'll go to one of the other nurseries who has someone who answers in person
