Mar 8, 2026I hoped to hear back from you and i am very disappointed. After viewing your website I really wanted to support you. I read your response and I called and left my name and number. I look forward to hearing from you. Have a blessed day and congratulations on the East Coast location. I hope that you are safe out there at this time during the ❄️🌨☃️⛄️🎿🏔⛷️🏂⛷️. After 15 years of NYC, I do Not miss the winters. I walked in this morning as the gentleman opened the door. I encountered the young lady and we greeted each other. I inquired if they shipped items? She answered my question. While browsing and alone this dog starts barking at me, and coming a little more closer. Im calling out Ma'am...Ma'am... Ma'am...Sir, with the dog barking at me each time I opened my mouth. The man responded "oh its okay. He's ok". I'm feeling unsafe and uncomfortable as I'm walking towards the door and saying, no its not ok. "He's ok". No it is not ok. Tansy, It is not okay to have your Big dog walking around frightening customers, and customers wanting to spend a lot of money at your establishment. He/she may be ok with you and im sure he/s probably is a great pet, however you can not assume everyone is ok with pets and do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to restrain them after your not responding right away when I called out. I've shopped here once before which is why I returned. Had this been my experience the first time I would never have come back. Blessings to you.

Feb 15, 2026I love buying my little plants from here. I also love supporting a great small business in my area. It is very charming. There is no parking lot but I usually have no problem parking on the street. If you want coffee order it first, and then walk around. The coffee cart can get busy and I've waited like a half hour for my order before.

Aug 13, 2025Tansy is one of the most visually interesting shops I’ve been to in Burbank. Outside, it’s bursting with plants, colorful displays, and a cafe that make you want to stop and look around. Inside, every corner is packed with plants, unique gifts, décor, and quirky finds. You could walk through three times and still notice new things. It’s not just a plant shop, not just a gift shop; it’s a mix of both with a personality. The layout makes browsing fun, and the variety is huge, from succulents to wall art to small home accents. Staff is friendly without hovering, so you can take your time.

Jul 7, 2025There is one word I would use to describe Tansy...enchanting. It's like walking into a fairytale or the welcoming home of a well traveled friend. Honestly, I didn't want to leave. I wanted to live there. Just parking at one of the residential streets I was greeted by beautiful floral murals on the wall. When I walked into the outdoor patio, there were plants everywhere, seating, and a little coffee and pastry truck. When I walked into the store, it was like a continuation of the outside with flowers and lights hanging from the ceiling. Meanwhile, the merchandise itself is noticeably hand selected for its beauty and/or cuteness. The prices are reasonable. For the most part each item I personally looked at was around $20. I even took a reusable shopping bag with me just in case, but since my apartment is small and anything I bring into it needs to be utilitarian, as much as I wanted to come home with something, I didn't actually buy anything. Like there was this coconut bowl that had a lovely floral lacquered painting in the interior. It was the first thing I picked up and I even went back to it a second time before I was about to leave. It was only around $17, but I couldn't bring myself to actually buy it because where would I put it? What would I use it for? I can't put cereal in it because it would ruin the painting. I can't throw keys into it because, again, it would ruin the painting. I would have it simply to have it and look at it. Which is a proper summary of this store: If you're looking for cute, affordable tchotchkes to fill your home with and you have the room, this place is for you. If you're good with keeping plants alive and you have the space for them, this place is for you. Otherwise, if you're like me, the best you can do is enjoy the wonderful atmosphere of this place and admire all the lovely things within it.
