Texas Greenhouse Co

We bought our greenhouse ~11 years ago and have been enjoying it ever since. Our saleman, Eddie, is still there and has helped on a couple of occasions when I've contacted him about replacement parts and most recently a glass door panel that broke. They helped coordinate the initial 3-day install although we did have to handle getting the foundation, DG flooring, electrical, water, and propane hookups. We found a neighbor that was getting a pool installed and the owner of that crew did everything but the electrical and actual propane tank hookup for us (around $12K back then). Over the years the powder coat has seen some fading and we had some peeling on the aluminum components, but that has nothing to do with the structure and more to do with exposure to hot Texas summers. Maybe I'll sand, prime and re-spray one day...or not :-) We use it throughout the winter to keep our tropicals alive with the temp set to about 50-55, and, in the springtime to handle seedlings and other plants. Honestly, we've found that summertime is just too hot in there for most things even with the cooler running full blast. We're still in there 3-5 times a week doing something and are still very happy with TGC.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Spoke with sales, service & front desk. Front desk was by far the worst experience. Hung up on me multiple times when placing on “hold” & eventually stopped answering the phone altogether. Customer service & basic people skills are severely lacking. I was looking to spend thousands of dollars but after having to deal with the girl at the front desk, I am definitely taking my business elsewhere. Ridiculous & shameful that a business would conduct itself in such bad manner.

Well built greenhouse, pretty design. However, once they had my deposit, customer service was lacking. They rarely return my calls. I usually have to call them 2-4 times, leave messages, beg someone to call me back. They don’t do foundations, flooring, water plumbing, electric, or gas. They just design and build the frame and install the appliances (but do not hook them up or provide any option for us to pay them to do so). It took a couple months longer than expected for them to start, and when we finally received the trucks, the greenhouse had been powder coated in the wrong color and finish. It was supposed to be cream matte and we got white glossy. It was too late to fix their mistake at that point. Structurally it’s solid and well-installed. It seems they used good quality glazing and materials.
