The Green Spot

Do not use this place for home consultation gardening needs. I never write these but I'd want my friends to know not to go here, so felt I needed to write. Their store is adorable and has everything you need. But I hired them to come redo our front garden beds and they basically just put in wild flowers and a number of things did not thrive with all the sunlight we get up there (thee's no tree coverage and it's like she didn't listen to that.) Plus some very ugly other plant choices. As a plant novice, I trusted them to artistically design a space and this did not happen. Now a year later, only about half has survived and I'm hiring someone else to change out all that we lost and to move the wildflowers to the meadow where they (beautifully) belong. I tried to calling them about a month ago to get their advise and thoughts before hiring someone else and they literally never called me back. So in summary, shitty (even ugly) plant choices, a lot of which cannot handle the amount of sun we get (as if they didn't listen to me or look to where the sun would be), and poor customer service in never calling me back.

Great stock lots of plant material to choose and the displays are great with a visit to get inspired

Nice plants, reasonably priced.

I stopped by here to ask about landscaping and was really disappointed. They do not seem to really know what they are talking about - more of a gentleman farmer type group, not getting their hands dirty. Could not answer general questions. Prices are absurd too. You can do much better at other local nurseries.
