Virgil's Plant Shop

5 star, 10/10, all the praises!! We visited for the first time today and I will be a repeat shopper guaranteed. The shop is super cute, organized, and the staff was beyond amazing. The owner helped us out and you can tell they love what they do. I came hoping to find a begonia maculata and they had some which were a good price already but still gave me a discount for the crispy leaf. You won’t be disappointed with this shop💯

Genuinely love Virgil’s. I have been a plant mom to a lot of different species for a very long time and I’ve done well on my own, but Virgil’s has definitely helped expand my knowledge and their repotting soil has my plant babies thriving. Things that have always been healthy but never grew are now growing. Plants that have almost died have come back to life with new growth. Their plant pricing is some of the most reasonable I’ve seen in KC and the plants that come out of their store are happy & healthy, making care & maintenance that much easier. I’ve also gotten some of the cutest pots there. I can’t say enough good things about all of their staff and the owner.. also kind, helpful, and ready to chat about whatever. The store aesthetic is adorable and welcoming.

Nothing but great things to say. Reba and the whole crew were extremely helpful with repotting a cactus and providing proper care instructions. Very knowledgeable and friendly team. 10s across the board.

This has been a heavy week for me because my best friends father passed away, and the staff here were so pleasant, empathetic and compassionate. They helped me pick out the perfect plant for my friend and her family and bagged everything so nicely. They are just really good people who exude light!
