My Globe Willow died that I bought at Clover nursery because I was not taught anything how to do it right so I decided to go to West Side Nursery to get a new Globe Willow. Here at West Side Nursery she taught me everything how to use the right dirt for my tree. She even gave a grandma that was in the line before me a small amount of dirt for free. I was so impressed with her kindness! I am so excited about my tree and I am confident it will live because I can ask for help and can get a replacement up to a year. Great service and beautiful forest of trees to choose from. I love them

Stopped in for a purchase of a couple of plants it had been quite a while since I had been here. They are quite helpful, have a lot of plants and varieties for purchase. But even more trees to choose from. Parking is a little slim, but achievable.

We came here very often and bought most of our trees here (fruits, Japanese maple, juniper). Their staff has been friendly and helpful. This spring has been a devastating season for me since earwigs destroyed all our vegetables. I started lots of them in March (they also ate all the ones we bought.) I stopped by West Side today and see how much their vegetable starts are. The woman generously offered them for free. It’s such a heart warming signal and allows me to have energy to start the garden again.

I wanted to put some shade trees along the west end of my yard so I went to westside nursery and bought me 4 autumn blaze maples, the trees struggled and did not thrive I assumed because of my extremely clay and compacted soil. After 3 years I decided to get new trees so I went back to westside and told them the trees I bought were not doing good and I wanted new trees that could grow in not so great soil. They said yeah those autumn blazes don't ever do good in the valley and you have to inject iron in them etc. etc. (Would've been good to know this when you sold them to me) but we bought 4 more trees along with the soil ammendments and fertilizer they recommended and was promised they were VERY resilient and should do good. They charge half the cost of the tree to plant them which would've been an outrageous $600 in my case so of course we decided to plant them ourself. Planted them in October, watered them each week until snow fall and assumed they would be OK with the wet winter we were having. 2 of them did not get leaves in the spring so I went back to westside to ask to use the warranty they have on all their plants. The lady told us they were not planted deep enough which was our fault and instructed us how to plant them better next time (all while standing next to a dead tree that was the exact same kind she sold us last fall.... hmmm hers didnt live either???) but she would still honor the warranty and they would deliver the trees within 3 weeks. We left feeling appreciative towards the owner for being so helpful BUT we never saw any trees from them...... so I paid westside nursery over $2,000.00 and the result I have is 2 trees that may or may not survive. I started my yard from scratch and the 10 other trees I bought from other places and I planted are growing and doing great. Will not be back to westside ever.

A little over a week ago, my boyfriend and I bought 3 trees here! We had gone to 2 other nurseries the same day and found that their prices were both similar and fair. The honey locust we bought (supposed to be the hardiest of the 3) started dying on us within a couple days of bringing it home.. We tried to save/pamper it for a week before throwing in the towel and finally giving West Side a call. They asked us to bring it back so they could try to save it and gave us a new one without hesitation 😊 They also had some different varieties of plants/trees that we haven't seen elsewhere, we'll definitely be back to buy more! I'm stoked our house is just down the street.
