Nov 1, 2025So we went today and it was alright! We were very excited to feed the animals and do the corn maze. The animals need more space. It’s too crowded. A baby goat seems to have a broken leg as it was limp and not being used; it was getting assaulted the entire time while stuck so it was helpless. It had missing patches of hair from older goat horns hitting it and either a broken or very injured leg. It was very sad. The animals need better care or more space. The corn maze was fun! The little random activities were cool, definitely a fun place for kids. Lots of fresh food, jams and honey. Probably not going again though!

Oct 28, 2025I bought apples from Windy Acres Farm at the Wheaton Farmers market on October 25. I am extremely disappointed with the apples that we bought. There were about six varieties for sale. The apples we selected were advertised to be tart and crisp. The man working the booth assured us the apples were tart. These apples are sweet and mushy. I deserve a refund for the $16. What a disappointment.

Oct 27, 2025I could go into complaining about some things, especially the behavior of a couple of the staff. But I have to say blonde and blue Amanda at the food stand did a wonderful job. We came here for a family fellowship church outing. I didn't realize this place is ideally for young children typically 12 and under. It's all family friendly. I loved the market and bakery section. Their apple funnel cake is monstrous!!! Produce prices were a bit bogus as you can't adjust the quantity. Pizza and apples came with group package. I spent roughly $70 for two fudges, twizzlers, a funnel cake, one bottled beverage, 5 fried cheese sticks, and some grapes.

Oct 22, 2025We decided to check out this Blueberry Festival and Corn Boil. It is a great FAMILY OWNED business 40 years! They have a huge play area for the kids, find gems, small rides, enough for the littles to laugh, make memories, and tire them out’ While there, it’s a MUST to treat yourself with a piece of Blueberry Cobbler,, it is absolutely heavenly! They also have blueberry cheesecake, peach cobbler, and MORE! They have an excellent selection of friit and Vegetable, sauces, jams, and so much more!

Oct 19, 2025Our family came to Windy Acres for fall fest on a Saturday. We saw online it says open until 6pm, so we figured late afternoon would be perfect for us as we did not intend to stay all day long. We arrived at 415 pm to find out they close at 530. Okay fine, we'll pay the $22 to attend for our kids to enjoy. As soon as we walk in, we notice all concession stands have closed for the day. Even the bar yelling last call as soon as we arrived. Thought this was odd that everything closed so much earlier than the farm even though it was a Saturday. The kids had fun, but it was extremely disappointing for $22 a person! Overall, I'd recommend going elsewhere for fall fun
