(Concentrates Review) Most of the concentrates and desolates are on point. Pretty good quality. Some of the aloha carts are pretty dark. This would indicate that they are not using the sugar leaf only. Same with some of the crumbles. Very dark in color. Very harsh indicating that they are using too much leaf product. (Tips) - Don't buy dark colored concentrates. - inspect your concentrates before purchasing. - Make sure they have a nice floral smell. - Don't be afraid to ask staff questions. (Flower Review) If you're looking for quality stick to the indoor craft. Quite a few strains I have picked up and had signs of hermaphroditing. Had a few strains that were pretty seedy. Hermaphroditing can be caused by a variety of issues and stressed growing conditions. Also notice some strains, snap crackle and pop when smoke. This would be an indicator that there are not doing a full flush cycle at the end of flowering cycle. Leaving behind heavy metals in the product. Some products seemed rushed through the post harvest process. Rapid curing can cause product to be harsh and lose potency. When snapping open some of the bigger colas. I was able to detect signs of botritis (aka bud rote) discoloration close to the stem. This would indicate that curing environmentals are not optimal. Just flat out. Stay away from the pre-rolls for now. Try these when they came out. Tasted like there was way too much leafy material. That don't burn right. Won't stay lit. In my opinion I'll just roll my own. (Tips) - Always inspect product before purchasing. - if the product smells like lawn trimmings, pass. - if this product still has high moisture levels, pass. - Typically large buds are not ideal, they are aesthetically pleasing. However, depending on the cure environmentals, this can have certain issues with bud rot. - Just because there's a high THC percentage, this does not indicate how the medicine will affect you. (Usually in the industry only the very tip of the colas/ buds are sent in for testing, which are the areas of the highest THC concentration.) - always be on the lookout for discoloration on the outside and inside of your medicine. (Edibles) I've never purchased. (Tinctures) I've never purchased. (Staff) Staff is usually friendly and upbeat. Pretty knowledgeable about product. I guess front staff no longer allowed to visit the cultivation site. As a customer this is a bit concerning. I would much rather speak with somebody that has been out to the cultivation site. And has seen the conditions and products used. It's a red flag when a company won't allow the upfront staff to visit the back of house productions. Makes me feel like they might be hiding something. Also, upfront staff is unaware of pesticides used in cultivation process. This could be an issue if there are systemic pesticides used like pyrethrins. I believe that being upfront and transparent with your patients is best. Your front of house staff should be informed and up to date with all processes from propagation to post harvest to sale. The company is limiting the knowledge and information provided to the front of house sales. Why? (Overall) There's definitely some room for improvement on product quality. This should allow the bartenders to walk the cultivation site. That way they can answer questions definitively and competently. I go to this location often. And will continue. However, I will just keep in mind that certain strains need to be more closely inspected than others. Hope this review helps out. All the patience that are in need. (Update) My most recent visit four out of five strains were rushed through the curing stage smelled like lawn trimmings. In my opinion, quality seems to have dropped.
