Lyman Estate Greenhouses, Historic New England

Very small greenhouses. I would only allot about an hour at most. No public bathrooms. Small shop. No interaction with anyone at the greenhouses though there were several people working at the time.

This place is such an absolute treasure! Aimee is a walking encyclopedia! She not only helped me select plants that fit my home and their care, but gave me a history of the greenhouse and it's remarkable range of plants, like she knew every single one of them! PS Glow in the dark petunias! How cool is that?

Amy in the greenhouse was SUCH a delight! We had many questions about our purchased/personal plants and their care. She was so helpful and patient. We did not realize how much of a resource this greenhouse is. I would definitely recommend visiting this historic site and buying locally grown plants.

Beautiful just walking around. Make sure go into the green house where nature's magic on display.

Visited on a Monday. The greenhouse was closed but I was able to walk the grounds and take photos anyway. Had an informative conversation with the grounds keeper. I would have liked a wider variety of flowers but the ones they had were in good condition. Great place for a casual visit
