Graye's Greenhouse

I want to love this place, but unfortunately while I was there this weekend I noticed they had a lot of bug problems. I found mealy bugs and more scale than I have ever seen in my life. I dropped a fern that was absolutely covered in scale. I noticed all of a sudden I had a scale problem about 2 years ago and I realized the fern I bought here had brought scale to my grow operations. It’s unfortunate that we can’t trust this greenhouse to produce safe plants to add to our collection. I won’t be returning ): I have too many plants at risk.

This place is amazing. I've never been to a place with such variety. The prices were so reasonable I was shocked. On top of that the owner (I think she's the owner) was so kind and accommodating. She answered endless questions and even potted a plant on the spot so I could buy it. If I lived close I would spend all my money here. Highly recommend, you should stop!

Our first visit to this greenhouse and what an amazing place it is! So many unique plants, all very healthy just waiting to be planted in our garden. Nothing fancy, helpful, knowledgeable and attentive staff, we learned so much. The owner is selling so this might be your last chance to experience this wonderful 100 year old business. Don’t miss it.

Want to say how amazing this place is! They have the best selection of succulents and cactuses. You will not find these plants anywhere else. Love them and will be back soon

Grey's Greenhouse has an amazing selection and very reasonable prices. They are my go-to place in all of SE MI, not just the Detroit suburbs, for succulents, jade plant varieties, and cacti.
