went in to look at houseplants and noticed they had beautiful sunstressed hoyas with red on the leaves. all the hoyas appeared to be full and healthy at first, which was strange because they were ALL 50% off. as I was walking to the counter I was inspecting for pests as I always do, and noticed a mealybug. I put it back and checked another. more mealybugs. I began to check every hoya marked 50% off, all infested with mealybugs. badly. it seems a little irresponsible to mark plants down infested with bugs, make them more appealing for people to want to buy, then unsuspecting people are bringing them into their homes and potentially spreading them to any and all other houseplants they have. kind of disappointed to see that.

The last 3 years I have used Weigands for all landscaping and flowers while building my new home thousands of dollars spent. I use to love this nursery because of the great products and customer service. This year has been the worst year of customer service that I have ever experienced there. Asking for a small exchange of a plant ( not a return, an exchange) is just one of the bad experiences I had this year. I have always justified the higher prices here because I loved it so much. Not anymore. I also have never wrote a review on anyone business before.

She guided us with warmth, patience, and true expertise as we selected every tree, shrub, and perennial needed to create the perfect landscaping for our new home. The nursery’s selection is truly impressive—healthy, diverse, and beautifully maintained. The only thing better than their variety was their pricing, which we found to be more than fair given the quality. Debbie and the team also offered practical, well-thought-out recommendations for delivery, installation, and aftercare, which gave us confidence every step of the way. We couldn’t be happier with our experience, and we highly recommend Ray Wiegand’s Nursery for anyone looking to bring their landscaping vision to life. Donna in the butterfly house is awesome! She taught us about the eggs, the caterpillars, and how they morph into butterflies. She was so informative and made our visit fun and educational.
