Went here with my work family today to make spruce pots. Great experience and so much to choose from! Bart was a great help!

Dave was super friendly and helpful! I stopped in a few weeks ago to get plants to replace some dead ones near a hot tub at my business. Dave took the time to understand what we were going for and offered great suggestions that worked perfectly in the space. Highly recommend!

I’ve always felt this place is overpriced for much of what they sell, but today I also found out how stingy they can be. They were running a Labor Day sale with 50% off tropical plants. Before going, we specifically asked if a Chinese fan palm was included in the sale and were told yes. At the store, we picked one out, brought it to the counter, and were then told that Chinese fan palms are considered houseplants, not tropicals, so the discount didn’t apply. When we asked if they’d honor what we were told, they refused. We walked out and later went to Gertens, where we found the exact same size palm tree for even less than what it would have cost at Pahls with their discount. Overall, just go to Gertens. Pahls is overpriced and stingy.

We had Mike from Pahl's Market come out and give us a bid to have our rock "refreshed", new plastic put down, repair some of the black edging and plant six new bushes. Yesterday the crew completed the work and oh, my.....it looks GREAT!!!!!!!! The new bushes are gorgeous and they did a wonderful job with the entire project from start to finish. In regards to pricing, you get what you pay for and this project was worth every penny. Exceeded our expectations.

I’ve enjoyed purchasing garden plants and landscape items from this local family business for over 18 years. I have consistently found that the variety and quality of products at Pahls Garden Center are exceptional. If you want to purchase a pre-planted and skillfully arranged patio planter, theirs are beautiful and artfully assembled. The garden center is well laid out with good signage. If you know you have a shady spot for your plantings, you can go directly to that section and will find a vast selection. I love what they do with foliage. While blooming plants are so cheerful and fill my garden beds, I find myself adding more and more space just for the fun of mixing texture and leaves in large planters. Everything that I’ve bought - plants, shrubs, trees – all have been very healthy. This represents real skill and gardening know-how. I also buy hardy roses here every year. Yes. Some don’t make it due to our Minnesota winters. However, they are still worth it to me for their charm, fragrance, and dominance in my garden arrangements that are fun to give away. What has amazed me is that even when I’m not asking for a replacement, once they offered one – for free. (I do buy a lot there :)) Pahl’s Market is run by an exceptional family. Always has been. But it is fabulous to see its management transferring to another generation. Gary and Missy Pahl, as well as Jane, have been the best customer support team possible. Also, a big shout out to Jack Pahl who has helped me several times. I’m so happy to see their current expansion going on. The outdoor living section is amazing. I highly recommend going here to purchase your garden containers, fountains, bird baths, and ornamental items. It’s also a great place to buy small gift items for my gardening friends and family members. The staff is passionate, knowledgeable about what grows best in Minnesota and ideal garden pairings, and very customer-centric.
