Wagners Garden Center Minneapolis

Was greeted by water leaking from the pipes right on my eye as I walked into the greenhouse. Elderly woman harassed me while browsing and seemed to need constant validation. This is supposed to be a plant shop not a daycare center. Many plants were in poor condition. Wish I could say nicer things.

Great selection- all the plants look amazing. The worker was very helpful in showing me where the flowers were that I was inquiring about. Friendly workers at the check out and they put my bags of mulch in my trunk for me and were happy to do so. Great place!

I really hate leaving bad reviews. However, the lady who checked me out today just really seemed like she didn't want to be working. I got asked if I was part of a rewards program, and I replied No Then that was it. She didn't even offer to sign me up or anything. When she was done checking me out, there was absolutely no appreciation or anything, just dead silence, awkward . I love plants and supporting small businesses. I wish I knew what type of reward program they offered, and I wish my experience there with checkout/customer service went better.

My roommate and I went to Wagner's last week and bought a mountain of annuals, herbs and strawberries for our patio garden. So many gorgeous choices! Of course, we had selected a couple of oddball plants that had messed up barcodes. Our cashier, Moni, handled it all with a smile. He was extra helpful and friendly. He sorted out the barcode issues in a flash. Our order was fairly massive and we spent enough time with Moni at his register to start trading jokes and felt like friends when we parted. Wagner's, you have a 10-star (on a 1-5 star scale) employee in Moni. He is an absolutely lovely human being! Next time we are there, we plan to see if he's available to help us because he's our new fav Wagner's employee. Here's a pic of the beginning of our patio garden. So many plants from Wagner's! Many of the houseplants came from you 5 years ago and all the annuals, herbs, strawberries.

Great plants at a reasonable price. Selection is not as big as Bachman's or Gertens; but it great for a quick run. Plus you are still supporting a small family business.
