I was tree shopping and had a question. I happened to ask the owner (unbeknownst to me). Five minutes later I was riding around the nursery with him and his dog in their UTV. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff with good pricing.

Its okay, prices are up there. If your looking for house plants like i was, go elsewhere. They do have a wide selection of hanging baskets. Im always looking for something that's a little different, and everything they had here was predictable. Beautiful tree selection as well.

Just went today for some spruce tops, gentlemen working was very kind and helpful. We got talking about horticulture and I appreciate his interest my questions about opportunities. Spruce tops were very fresh and were a good price for freshness compared to other places.

wish I had never stopped into this place to inquire about a landscaping project. The person that I met indicted that to have a consultation at my home I would need to pay a fee that would be credited to anything I purchased over $400.00. I asked for the consultation, paid the fee and set up an appointment for Monday October 1, 2024 at 11:00 am. I even received and email verifying the appointment and my phone number. However on Sunday September 30, 2024 Jim Whiting came to my home unannounced and said that he was in the area and decided to stop by. I never met this person before and told him I thought I had an appointment on Monday but took the time to talk to him about the project. He was only at my home briefly took some pictures and spoke briefly about some plants that he thought would be appropriate and left. During that time I tried to show him the areas that I wanted to be replaced but was told to stop by the office to look at a computerized picture of my home and his ideas. I said okay. On Monday Jim Whiting called me and asked when I was coming in to see the pictures. I had an electrician at my home doing work which is why I made the appointment for Monday and said that I was not free to stop by right now but would as soon as I was free. He told me that I had to make an appointment and to call Connie. I did that and made an appointment for Thursday at 11:00. Right from the start Jim Whiting walked in and said " Are we having fun" and apparently I did not answer in a way that satisfied him because he said that if we are not having fun there is no point in doing this that we should have fun. I was a little taken back by this comment but sat down to look at his design. Throughout the conversation Jim Whiting kept referring to this about being fun but I just wanted to see the design and asked questions about the plants. He had a picture of two of the four places we briefly talked about on Sunday, however the two other areas had no pictures of any design. As I sat there asking about what he had in mind for those areas he made the comment that he "had to dream" about what to design in those areas. I told him that if he needed more time I could come back later. He did not like that comment and said that he is choosing unique plants not common plants. We also talked about replacing the mulch other plants that were already there and he could not find the pictures of those areas so he asked me to take pictures and send it to him. I said that had he taken the time on Sunday to fully see what areas I wanted to have changed I would not have to take pictures again to show him He apparently did not like that comment and the consultation went from being awkward to arrogant and condescending with him telling me not to look at the past and that "you are getting Jim Whiting to design your project and not some 15 year old kid". At that point he ended the meeting abruptly and I left. I have never encountered anything remotely like this as a customer who paid for a consultation and only received some half thought up ideas for the project and scolded for questioning him. The truth is despite his attitude I did like the plant ideas that he suggested and told him that but apparently that was not enough. Apparently I was not impressed with "Jim Whiting" designing my project had the gall to question the unannounced meeting and I was not someone that deserved his business. Trust me Jim Whiting I will never step foot into that place again. By the way I had to post one star so that I could post this review.
