I can’t say enough about Bedford Fields. I’ve been very happy with my beautiful maple trees and all the perennials. Very nice store as well.

this nursery dumps introduced species into the chestnut oak forest behind the facility. doesn’t matter if the plants are dead or alive; annual or perennial. this is how invasive species and pathogens spread into our already anthropogenically-pressured ecosystems. poor ethics from a team that should know and care about plants. additionally they have a banner advocating for the support of native pollinators, yet practices like this immediately disprove the commercial virtue signaling. i may sound like a ‘karen’ on my soapbox, but some values are more important than the efficiency of running a business. especially when the business is directly tied to the health of our local ecology. i am all for the support of local businesses, but why support a facility who does not respect our most vulnerable locals?🌳🐛
