Funke's Greenhouses

Funke’s is so much fun! They are known for their tomatoes and peppers, but I love them for their unusual herbs, like Cuban oregano, meadowsweet, tobacco, and every flavor of basil and mint in the universe. They also offer a wide selection of big, healthy berry bushes, including black raspberry! Al is a true plantsman, and he truly enjoys answering garden questions. In mid-July, when the planting window is beginning to close and I’m still trying to get plants in the ground, Al can tell you what can still be planted for fall harvests. Long Live Funke’s!

The BEST selection of vegetable plants I have ever seen! Also, they have a cute little area to bring your old plastic planting pots to donate or to take some of you need some. I can tell that there is care and love put in to the plant selection and I will definitely be back!

Funkes is the place to go for eclectic and hard to find heirloom veggies and herbs. Hundreds of different pepper varieties, and hundreds of tomato varieties. Very cool and knowledgeable staff. We go every year - sometimes twice (or three times)!

Funke’s is amazing. Has the most variety of vegetable plants that I’ve ever seen and they look great.
