It was very disorganized. There was only one booth that could tell us which plants were cat friendly. We went into the greenhouse and two of the women there could not help us, didn’t know the answers to our questions. We were told to find out the name of the planet and look it up on the Internet. Also told to go outside and find another woman that was wearing the same shirt that could help us. She could not. Extremely disappointed. Had hoped to find some indoor plants that were animal friendly. The greenhouse acted like they really didn’t care. We would never go to that again.

I stopped at Whiteford Greenhouse to buy some plants for the cemetery. There was quite a variety of plants to select and it was only April. The people there were very friendly and helpful.

So I lived down the street on homerdale my entire childhood until I was 19 when we sold house but I always remembered Whiteford greenhouse to have such big pretty pink petunias all over. Last year I decided to go in and it was around the time they had plant festival( which I attended and liked a lot) . I bought heirloom tomatoes plants (black krim) and yellow cherry tomato and a Roma plant. The only plant that did ok was Roma. Others failed like they just made leaves and stems no fruits. I even fertilized and did the right stuff. Bought a temp for ground and ph tester and still no tomatoes. Odd. I felt bad cuz I spent higher amount of money here for unique plants and it was an utter fail. I wonder if the plants were just not good? Also that greenhouse is expensive. Too expensive especially for hangers and planted pots.
