A Maker's Post

Cute shop but service was awful. The person at the counter didn't say hello let alone look up from her laptop. When I went to check out the owner? salesperson? said "oh.... you probably didn't see the price. It's x amount" as if I couldn't afford it. I lived in NYC for years and have dealt with my fair share of snooty boutique people but this really took the cake. Stores like this are a dime a dozen; if I want an overpriced candle I'll at least go where the people are kind.

A Maker’s Post is one of my favorite spots on Sullivan’s Island. Their gift selection is always so beautifully curated, thoughtful pieces from local artisans alongside unique finds from around the world. It’s the kind of place where you feel inspired just walking through the door. The back room is especially magical, like a little greenhouse sanctuary tucked away in the shop. I also have the joy of photographing for them and they’re such a pleasure to work with. Every visit brings something new and I can never seem to leave empty handed!

I truly have never been in a cuter shop in my entire life. Bravo to the owner & designers for this gem

Wanted one of everything in this adorable gift shop! Bought some wildflower seeds and a cute sticker. Will absolutely be back when I can shop for a bit longer. 🩷
