Sep 8, 2025This is an excellent local market for plants in the spring to early summer and a solid farmers market in the other months.

Jun 2, 2025My mom has been dragging me to this nursery for years and its her absolute favorite. Now that I'm planting my own garden I came here for well established raspberry plants and found fun pumpkins, a variety of strawberries species and other fun things plus a butterfly kit!

May 18, 2025Knowledgeable staff, a wide selection of hardy plants, and some of the best vegetables you can buy - Kuwahara is a great local resource for home gardening. Also, don’t miss out on the delicious cinnamon rolls and spicy pickles!

Mar 24, 2025They have beautiful plants I’m not sure about their eggs. On their page they said farm fresh eggs . For $9 a dozen I wasn’t impressed. I got two dozens and all looked like they came from the grocery store. Very dissatisfied. Also when I was there the produce did not look its best either.

Sep 4, 2024It used to be that only in the grocery stores did you get fruit that was hard, green, unripe with little or no taste. Now even the farmers markets have gotten to where that it the case with most of their produce. I bought a box of peaches here several days ago to use for canning. I waited to get the Lemon Elbrerta because they are one of the best for canning. They were a little firm, but I was told let them sit for a couple of days and they will be ready! Well I did and they started to get soft and I figured I had better bottle them before I lost them. Even though they were getting soft, they still were very sour and had no sweetness! At $45.00 per half a bushel you would think that you would get "GREAT" produce, not so! The farmers markets have now gotten just like the stores, in that they pick their produce when it is so green that it never does have the chance to get the real good old fashioned flavor. And now the Farmers Markets are more expensive than the stores. Really disapointed in their produce.
