Feb 14, 2026We ordered a load compost soil for our raised flower bed and our plants have flourished! Should have thought of this a long time ago!

Sep 18, 2025I was driving behind their truck on Bridge street in Roanoke and the passenger threw a liquor bottle out of the window intending for it to go into the River (where my kids play) however, the bottle hit the rail and bounced back into the road, shattering right in front of my tires. “One Earth” is a joke. The moral quality is highly lacking and I really hope they become better people.

Sep 17, 2025Workers are disrespectful and show no regard to employee's vehicles blowing dirt and debris all over cars in the parking lot.

Aug 10, 2025Avoid One Earth — Learn From Our Costly Mistake My wife wanted steps down our hill with a firepit at the bottom. I wanted standard wood steps, but she preferred concrete stepping stones. We trusted One Earth to handle both the path and the firepit. Big mistake. First, the stepping stones. A competent landscaper knows you can’t just toss stones down a slope and call it a walkway. But that’s exactly what One Earth did—laid them at the natural angle of the hill, completely unbalanced, making them unsafe and nearly impossible to walk on without risking a fall. This isn’t a minor oversight—it’s Landscaping 101, and they failed it. Then there’s the firepit. It looked nice when it was first built, but within a couple of seasons, the truth came out. In any professional stone firepit installation, a weed barrier (often called cheese cloth or landscape fabric) is the first thing you put down before the stones. One Earth skipped it entirely. Now, grass and weeds grow relentlessly through the stones, turning our “relaxing” space into a constant maintenance nightmare. This is not just disappointing—it’s negligence. We hired “professionals” expecting them to do the job right, but they cut corners at every step. Now, instead of enjoying the space we paid good money for, we’re are going to have to hire another company to tear up and redo their work. If you value safety, quality, and your money, stay far away from One Earth. The photos of our project say it all.
