Rhododendron Species Botanical Garden

How have I lived here for so long and not known about this place. Definitely a gem. A free bonsai exhibit and a separate area (need to pay for this part) that has green houses, trails, benches and an area with rhododendrons for purchase. A must see for any outdoor enthusiast or just for a peaceful afternoon.

Plants give me a sense of calmness and this place is like a hidden treasure which I never knew about! This is right next to the Bonsai museum and the fall colors were amazing. I am coming back every fall to this garden. It's a beautiful round loop with lots of pathways and small, directions within the park. We had our stroller and were able to easily walk around the park. The falls colors including a climber on tall tree is amazing. The surprise is the greenhouse. It felt like I was in the Herbology class in Harry Potter. What a cute, breathtaking glasshouse with variety of plants. Right now, I am not in a stage of life where I can take care of plants but whenever I do, I am coming back to buy some plants. Lots of plants for sale! Lastly, friendly staff makes a lots of difference!

Garden has a number of rhododendron species that are well kept and maintained. Trail through the garden is a must do.

I thoroughly enjoyed a beautiful walk through this amazing garden. The sun was shining, and the atmosphere was wonderfully peaceful and quiet. As a retired military member, I was grateful for the free admission—thank you for your support. I am already looking forward to my next visit!

This is an amazing place for Rhododendron species and other plants. The staff is friendly and helpful if you have any questions. There is a gift shop, and vendors sell souvenirs, along with a food truck on-site. I love this place and plan to return soon.
