Civano Nursery - Retail Location

I drove about 40 minutes to visit because I had heard good things and was hoping to buy two large citrus trees and have them planted. Unfortunately the experience was disappointing. They did not have the Arizona Sweet orange or Mexican lime I was looking for, which can happen, but they also would not sell or reserve trees expected to arrive in the coming weeks. They also do not allow online purchases for trees and would not sell or reserve a tree over the phone. I originally decided to visit because their social media makes the place seem very welcoming and customer-focused, but that unfortunately was not the experience I had in person. The overall interaction felt unwelcoming despite the fact that I was ready to purchase trees and pay for planting services. The goat, Griffin, did live up to the hype though. After making the drive and hoping for a more helpful experience, I’ll likely take my business elsewhere. Hopefully the customer experience improves for future visitors.

Nursery was beautiful and selection of desert plants astonishing. However, the website was very misleading. What happened to the children's play area? We arrived to spend the morning shopping and playing but found nothing in the "kids area" resembling what was advertised online. Disappointing.

I absolutely love the pleasure of driving past the Civano lighthouse 5 days week to be blinded every morning in the darkness!
