A visit to Flora Grubb is always like a thrilling mini-vacation to a lush, exotic island. I consult with the friendly, knowledgeable staff and have brought home so many delightful plants that thrive in my coastal garden.

Lovely nursery with every plant imaginable. Very keen on low water gardening, succulents, and dry climate plants. I love how it's organized -- with windy paths and outdoor rooms everywhere, ready to explore. I highly recommend this business and cannot wait to get back.

I've been buying my favorite plants from Flora Grubb since she operated from a vacant lot in The Mission District as a young entrepreneur years ago. She consistently has a selection of unique items that most other shops don't offer. I have also compared prices with the usual big box chain nurseries and was surprised that her prices are often no higher, and frequently a bit lower, but for significantly better quality. But really, I go to Flora because I love the atmosphere she's created and the knowledgeable and helpful staff.
