Hill Country Water Gardens & Nursery

This is a GREAT plant nursery. Can I give more stars??? They have so many high quality… well everything. Yes here’s water garden supplies and plants, but they have soooo much more! Including knowledgeable staff that are really friendly and super helpful. And, it’s a beautiful place to wander around. I won’t bother listing all the different things they have for your garden - because it’s everything you might need and some things you really want - and they have a website for that. This time I went in looking for advice on creating a frog habitat - talk about niche - and they had a staffer who spent 20 minutes walking me through my options. So friendly. So helpful. Really great!!

I bought a fountain today. After months or researching locally and on-line, Hill Country Water Gardens had the best price. I was very surprised because their customer service (Natasha & Justin) was excellent. I was willing to pay a *little* more because of their help but...nope! My fountain was less expensive here than any place, even on-line. Seriously. I couldn't be happier! If you're thinking of getting a water feature or you're in to gardening you just need to walk around this place.

Over time, we've varied what we've purchased from Hill Country Water Gardens. Our first experience was a more elaborate purchase of pond skimmer, waterfall, UV light, Pump, and various in-water and out-of-water plants for our 2,000 gallon pond some years ago. Whether it be big money purchases or smaller, we're always treated the same in what is a location with a larger selection, it seems, every time we visit. What a wonderful spot for garden plants, in and out of the water!

I called early Saturday morning just after opening. Had the pleasure to talk to Pickles(Gillian). I’ve been on customer service for over 40 years and this young lady was such a pleasure to talked to. She had to research my question and called me back. She was a bright sun to my day. I went in to shop that day to meet her. I met just about everyone there. Talked to various employees for some time. What a delight. They introduced a plant for my fountain (which I also bought there years ago.) it’s such a pleasure to stroll through their gardens and talk about plants with anyone walking by. I am a lifelong shopper and I tell everyone I know about them. Keep up the great work

Visited on a weekend evening. This Gardens has most variety of plants i ever seen in Austin.Ambience is good and they have great ideas to decorate the backyard with options &pond. Great staffs explaining the details. All garden needs available in one place. Have a good visit
