A huge variety of plants and yard ornaments etc here. A string ensemble was playing music as we scoured the area getting some plants for the house.

My husband and I drive out of town every year to purchase their plants/trees/flower. We love their layout, everything is really easy to find, and the staff are great. Last Saturday, they had a mini orchestra serenading the visitors which was so beautiful! The plants we buy are hearty and have done well in our humid and toasty environment!

Best nursery I’ve ever visited. I live in Mount Dora and drive to Orange Beach for vacation. I always stop here and stretch my legs. I also buy tons of plants. They have it all. I saw it featured in Southern Living as one of the top ten I think in the state or maybe the south. Anyway. I’m was not disappointed. I’ll continue to stop as often as I can.

This is a fantastic Tallahassee garden center, and there’s a lot to take in. Let’s get right to it. This visit was on February 1, 2026, when a strong cold front pushed through North Florida and reminded everyone that winter does still show up here. Temperatures were in the low 30s, and it felt especially surreal seeing icicles hanging from one of the fountains. Many of the plants were thoughtfully covered to protect them from Jack Frost; something longtime Tallahassee gardeners know is rare, but serious business when it happens. The nursery has that unmistakable family-owned Tallahassee feel; unpretentious, welcoming, and run by people who actually know what grows well here. The associates are knowledgeable in their specific areas, and the zero sales pressure was refreshing. I had the space to wander, take notes, and think through what truly works in a local yard rather than being pushed into impulse buys. Plant inventory is well organized with clear signage, making it easy to navigate whether you’re planning a full landscape overhaul or just killing time on a Saturday. Houseplant lovers will be especially happy here. They carry a large selection of sought-after tropical houseplants and in-bloom orchids; some are perfect for beginners, and others that feel like they require a PhD to keep alive. The greenhouse is a joy to browse, and their tropical offerings also shine for anyone interested in DIY terrariums. The selection of native plants is equally impressive, ranging from ground covers to shrubs and full-sized trees. It’s clear this isn’t an afterthought: there’s real attention given to plants that actually thrive in the Tallahassee climate, making this a valuable resource for sustainable and locally appropriate gardening. I also enjoyed exploring the three cottages filled with gardening accessories. There’s a charming mix of quirky, seasonal, and thoughtfully curated pieces that fit Tallahassee’s indoor-outdoor lifestyle. The variety of pots makes it easy to match not just the plant, but your home décor and even your mood. A few local-flavor highlights: the giant wind chimes are a treat when the breeze moves through, producing deep, resonant tones that feel less like North Florida and more like the English countryside. And kids will absolutely be drawn to the tyrannosaurus sculpture. Just make sure they admire it from the ground, not its back. All in all, this is one of those Tallahassee spots that rewards lingering, whether you’re a seasoned gardener, a new plant parent, or just looking for a peaceful place to wander on a chilly North Florida day.

I came here on literally the coldest day possible- there were snow flurries when we pulled in! All the outdoor plants were covered up in protective tarps, staff was layered in heavy jackets. The wind gusts were gusting. I stopped to get some memorial flowers for my kitty who had just passed a few days prior. It felt silly and selfish to go when it was this cold but I've been struggling terribly with my grief this week so me and my sister took the trip. Despite the frigid temperatures and snow flurries, the entire team of people who helped me today were so beautifully kind, helpful and heartwarming. I wish I had caught their names. They helped me find specifically some orange flowers, getting down and pulling up tarps up and down the rows of colored flowers. They never once seemed annoyed or even tried to rush the process with me. I know you all had to be cold and uncomfortable and I just kept apologizing but you all never once made it seem like it was an issue. Once flowers were in hand they kindly answered all the questions I had about them and walked me through my new plants a little bit. The entire team working today had good knowledge on the plants on-site. I can't thank the entire team of people who were working today enough. From the moment we stepped in to the checkout process at the end. You all have no idea how much your kindness positively impacted me today in a time I needed it most. I purchased the most beautiful yellow/red blanket flowers and orange violas here to memorialize my late kitty of 13 years. My sister bought some delicious pastries from a food truck that was posted up by the front. I've been here before and was met with the same vibe, except it was in much more favorable conditions, lol. This is definitely my go-to spot for anything plant-related. Thank you again. I'm so glad I made a stop here today and will be back. 🧡
