Moana Nursery

I had the BEST shopping experience at the Moana Nursery this week! The amazing expertise and outstanding salesperson named Linda was the KEY to making the purchase of my tree so much fun and very educational. Moana Nursery has a fantastic selection of very healthy, beautiful, and robust trees. It was difficult for me to choose one. But thanks to Linda's vast knowledge base, patience, kindness, and her professional guidance I was able to finally select the perfect tree for my small front yard. (I had originally purchased a large tree but once I returned home I realized I needed a smaller tree. I immediately called Moana Nursery to let them know I needed to make an exchange. Fortunately the large tree had not yet been delivered to my house.) The staff person told me it was no problem so I returned today to make the exchange. Linda astonished me by taking time on her day off from work yesterday to conduct research into a list of options tailored for my planting circumstances. She produced her written list to me today which helped enormously in my decision-making process. I have never had such fantastic customer service in my entire life!!! The other Moana Nursery staff were also very helpful and professional throughout the purchase process and setting up a delivery time. I will never shop anywhere else for trees, shrubs, or plants. Thank you Linda for making my visits to Moana Nursery so much FUN and educational! I LOVE my new tree!!

Reno traffic can be very difficult sometimes. Traffic lane and procedures are designed to have maximum flow of traffic. There are some who are slow that i get. But we have the lowest form of conscienceness - antagonizer. People who purposely block the flow of traffic. This is unacceptable. I observed this driver leaving 5 car lengths in front of him at a red light on macarran he did this at 3 lights going down. He thought it was funny. He prevented 5 more cars from passing through the light and aided in completely blocking drivers from entering the left turn lanes which just makes everything slower for everyone. To do this on purpose and think its funny is absolutley dispicable behavior. And it blows my mind that this person is doing it in the company truck poorly representing the company itself to the entire community. I would fire this man, at least he would never again drive a company truck. Traffic is not a joke or a place to play games. Shame on him and you for employing him.

What great place, if you like plants and all kinds of other stuff, this IS the place! Great service, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Water fountains galore. Take your time and a water bottle and look around.

We love Moana Nursery. Judy was so helpful in the garden center with helping us find the right soil to establish our garden for our desert tortoise. Karma has also been very helpful with her excellent advice. -Carleen
