Dec 12, 2025I was able to visit this place today during my trip to Charleston. Beautiful plants inside and the people were very friendly. They are very dog, friendly. My dogs enjoyed treats and rubs from the staff and other shoppers. I love the plants and I really enjoyed the Christmas shop too. Was able to get an orchid and several other plants for a very decent price. Even got one of the markdown plants for a great price. They have lots of things to go with your plants too If you need it. We’ll definitely go back to this place.

Oct 5, 2025Hyams is a Charleston staple, the kind of place every local ends up loving. Whether you’re adding plants to a downtown courtyard or just refreshing your front steps, their team always has great advice and the healthiest selection around. I’ve bought everything from herbs and ferns to garden pots and have never left disappointed. As someone who lives and works in 29401, I love that Hyams makes it easy to bring Charleston’s charm home, whether that’s a window box on a historic single or a small garden behind a South of Broad house. Their staff knows what thrives in our Lowcountry climate and they’re always happy to help. If you’re new to the area or just want to add a little more life to your Charleston home, Hyams is the place to go. – Brian Walsh | Downtown Charleston Realtor

May 16, 2025We love visiting, even when it gets us in trouble! Today's visit was to find some different herbs compared to what you can find anywhere and to find an orchid for Father's Day. We found both... And got some ideas for our next visit! (Added some photos... So many great plants for the summer!)
