Do you like your horticulture delivered with a side of disdain and insults? Do you like being misled, overcharged, and underwhelmed with your service? If you answered yes (what's wrong with you) but Merrihew's Sunset Gardens is the place for you! My sarcasm is masking my anger, as I am really upset with how my SO was treated there today. We'll definitely go further next time to find a shop that wants to help us with our attempts to keep our green things thriving.

We recently bought a tall indoor plant from Merrihew’s Sunset Gardens, along with a pot and saucer. The price was reasonable, and they kindly offered to pot it for us and even handle coordination with the delivery company—which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, when the plant arrived, it hadn’t been potted at all. Now we’re stuck trying to figure out how to do it ourselves, which is frustrating given that we had confirmed this with them ahead of time. It seems like there was a clear miscommunication or follow-through issue somewhere along the way. I’d still recommend Merrihew’s overall—the selection is great—but if you’re arranging anything beyond a simple purchase, I’d strongly suggest being extra clear in your communication and following up to make sure nothing falls through the cracks.

I have come here for years, buying plants and planters and today I parked out front and all these guys made a big scene about me parking out front in a potential loading zone. I mentioned I was coming to shop but if they wanted me to move I’ll just leave And shop elsewhere, and this Boy Pictured who claims he’s the owner said yeah you could just go ahead and do that and shop somewhere else so I left be mindful that this establishment is Full of unfriendly boys. There’s many plant shops in the area and this one just lost my business.
